We aim to improve your speaking and listening skills to a sufficient level, which will help you to pass your SELT/ GESE exam and help you in everyday life in the UK.
NOTE: We do not provide the SELT/GESE exam at ABA college, this is merely a preparation course ONLY. After the course you must book a SELT/GESE exam at your nearest Test centre. Support can be provided.

Modules

• Review and practice language functions, grammar, lexis and phonology.
• Familiarise yourself with the SELT exam structure and criteria and have the 1st part of the exam ready.
• Training materials are also provided together with details guidance on how to pass the exam first time
Exams
Our courses prepare you for the following exams:
The B1 SELT – GESE Grade 5 or Grade 3 - for Indefinite Leave to Remain (to settle) or British Citizenship
The A1 or A2 SELT – GESE Grade 3 - for Indefinite Leave to Remain (to settle) or British Citizenship
The A1 SELT – Grade 2 - Representative of an Overseas Business visa or Sportsperson visa (T2)
The B1 SELT – ISE I - Tier 2 (General) visa/Tier 4 (General) Student visa or you are a private hire driver and need to renew your taxi licence (TfL)
The B2 SELT – ISE II - Tier 2 (Minister of Religion) visa, Tier 4 (General) Student visa, an Innovator visa or Start-up visa.
The C1 SELT – ISE III - Although UKVI requires a B2 test, some institutions require C1.

An A1 level result will only be acceptable for the purposes of a partner/parent leave to remain application if the applicant is applying for the first time under either of these 5 year routes.

Applicants extending their Further Leave to Remain visa after two-and-a-half years as a partner or parent will need to take a speaking and listening English language test (A2) at a SELT centre.
